As an avid competitive runner for over 25 years with over 15 years experience as a former Physical Therapist Assistant, including extensive experience in sports medicine, I have gained in-depth knowledge of running related injuries, methods to help reduce risk of injury, as well as injury management.

Over the past 25 years, I have trained and raced competitively in distances from 5k to full marathons, trail races, ultra marathons, and 200 mile ultra relays. My proudest accomplishments include the Xterra 20-26k Regional and National Championship and World Qualifying with a 4th place finish in my age group, as well as a personal best 50k time of 6:43 at the historic Crown King Scramble.

As a Lydiard Level II and McMillan Certified Marathon Coach and Head Coach and Owner of Howard Performance & Wellness, my coaching experience spans over 17 years. I have a passion to provide personalized coaching to runners of all abilities, training for their first race or their personal best, from 5k to the full marathon and beyond.

My love for running and health has transcended into a dedication and commitment to helping others achieve their goals, leading and motivating by example, while listening and guiding through conversational leadership.
